When I was in the Navy reserve, we sometimes had to fly to Chicago for our ACDUTRA, and it always seemed to be storming over St. Louis. 

I am not a brave flier and this one particular time I was really scared. I knew I was on the verge of panic and being Eastern Orthodox, I started to pray to God to send an angel to hold the plane up. I

 know this sounds odd, but I suddenly thought of the Archangel Michael. He's a warrior angel and this plane was full of hospital corpsmen. God could send St. Michael to hold the plane up. 

At that precise moment all my fear left and the plane stopped jumping. I knew without a doubt that the plane was not going to crash in the bad storm. I did not see the angel, but I knew HE was there.
