In the Fall of 1994, my grandmother was hospitalized and diagnosed with Kidney Failure. I was visiting her when she was having Dialysis . Prior to my having gone to the hospital that morning, I'd been awoke from my sleep by what seemed to be an urgent voice telling me to get to the hosp-ital as fast as I could. So I went.

When I got there a Nurse was taking my grandmother to have her Dialysis done. Once she was connected to the machine I went into the room to stay with her while the procedure was taking place. On a table adjacent to her was another lady who was also having Dialysis. For some reason which I cannot explain, I was inexplicably drawn to this lady.

My nature at the time was far more shy and withdrawn than I am today. Striking up conversations with complete strangers wasn't something I'd go out of my way to do. However, I was so drawn to this woman that I kept glancing her direction hoping she'd say something to start a conversation with me.

Eventually she did. She asked me how I was doing this day and the conversation went from there. As our conversation progressed she began to talk to me about Jesus. She said that each of us must know him in our lives. She said that each of us must accept Him as our personal Savior. She then told me that the key to life is Love. That we are to love each other, one another and ALL as God loves and as Christ loves: UNCONDITIONALLY. Not because of who a person is or what they could do for us but just "because". She said we are to forgive one another as Christ forgives us, unconditionally and just "because". She then went on to talk to me in explicit detail about some personal problems I was experiencing at the time. She even said back to me something that was said from my mouth to God's ear. No one on Earth knew of this prayer. When she said that I knew that this was indeed a Messenger from God. At this time in my life I wore eyeglasses to correct a vision problem I have.
