An Answer in the Dark

A few weeks ago I was up late rolling over events in my life, worrying about relationships and so forth. I know I'll never be perfect in this life, and time can alienate us. It can also break us.
Late into that night I started to feel as though I
was floating. When I opened my eyes it would stop.
Soon I started to feel like I was drifting side
ways across the bed. This scared me. Then I heard
a voice. It did'nt sound human, it had some kind
of authority and power to it. Like a soft, kind rumbling.
What it said made me feel cheated until later that day
after I had thought about it over and over. It seemed
overly simplistic. I know that much can be found in
the most simplistic. I just thought that a divine
messenger would have something more profound to say.
I dont feel that way now. It said something in the
way of " Love never fails."
