Arrowhead

About eleven years ago- in 1986 or 87, my girlfriend (now wife) and I were laying in bed. We had a nerf basketball hoop right above our heads on the wall and were playing a who can make it the most game. We were living in an old house which we shared with another couple who were married. This couple were from Alaska , and the man-Steve-had an arrowhead collection that was in a sealed glass display case. The case had a lock and hinges, but had been sealed to keep out moisture,as the arrowheads were arranged on a red velvet pillow. The woman - Penny- had 3 ferrets that were personal pets of hers. These ferrets had free roam of the house and often visited us in our room. So my wife and I were playing this game; and the nerf ball on one shot got away and rolled behind the headboard of our bed. I leaned out of bed to reach under to retrieve the ball and was surprised to see a small black object under my side of the bed. I immediately assumed it was one of the ferrets toys, and reached to retrieve it. Upon examination of the object, I was again surprised to see that it was an arrowhead. It was a brownish gray stone approxiamately 1-1/2 inches in length and 3/4 of an inch in width. And the thing that was most interesting was that right away it had the look of a goats head. My wife and I examined it at length and we both had the same opinion of how it looked. We came to the conclusion that it must belong to Steve- our roommate- and decided to show it to him in the morning. The next morning, Intact that is with the exception of the empty space where this arrowhead recently rested. We never solved the enigma of how this object appeared in our room or why. We do have our own theories, and for the most part are unable to prove them.
