One night me and my friend Katie were playing a nice quiet game of chess, when all of a sudden the power went out so my mom lit a few candels and my dad checked the serkic braker because we were the only people with the power out and it was a perfectly clear night. Katie was staying at my house for a week because her parents were going on a ski trip and she didn't wanna go. Anyway we started the game of chess over because I forgot where I was going to move. So as we set up the board the black queen started to move tward me. i jumped up screaming.

As I ran down the hall to go tell my parents I heard footsteps thumping behind me. I stoped and turned around to see nothing behind me. I called for Katie and got no responce. So I went back to my room to see Katie sitting there playing the game. I then called to Katie but she didn't even look up. I was very confused. So I sat down to see the whole board set up and Katie was just sitting there playing. She moved her queen and jumped my brook and as I tried to move my peice I couldn't even lift it off the board just like it was part of the board. I got so freaked out that I sat there screaming for five minutes sraight. Then Katie looked up at me and asked, "Brittany are you ok?" I replied with "No, do you think I'm ok?!" Katie then got up and pointed to the wall saying Look! So i looked and on the wall said in red writting " ILL BE BACK " And I never played chess again.
