The night before my grandpa (my father's father) collapsed I had a dream about my mother. I was back in school and riding the bus home. I could not wait to get back to her and the bus seemed to take forever. When I finally got home the house was dark when there should have been lights on. I searched for my mother and went into the backyard, where I found her lying crumpled on the ground. She had collapsed and couldn't move but she could speak. She told me she had been lying there all day waiting for me to get home. I felt awful, like I should have known she needed my help. Then I woke up with a very anxious/scary feeling. I decided not to tell my mom about it so I wouldn't scare her.

Later on that day I found out that my grandpa had collapsed, while waiting for his medication, at the hospital. He had stopped breathing and it was lucky for him that he was in the hospital when it happened. (He is fine now by the way). It prompted me to tell my mom about my dream since the grandpa's collapsing reminded me of the dream. She looked at me and said," When your uncle was in school he came home for lunch and found my father (who passed away before I was born) lying on the floor. He told your uncle that he couldn't move and was waiting for him to get home to call the hospital".

I had never known about this incident and wondered if someone was trying to warn me about my grandpa through my dream.
