My Roommate's Father

My first experience channeling a spirit occurred my junior year of college on my roommate's 21st birthday. We were having a party for her in our room before she left to have dinner with her fiance. Just a moment after she walked out the door I was suddenly "shoved" into complete darkness. I could hear a voice sobbing and begging the people in the room to stop her from leaving. He wept that he needed to tell her how much he loved her and tell her how proud he was of her. I could hear all of this, but I couldn't see a thing. I was in a complete blackness. I remember I "pushed" to get back control of my body, and then suddenly I was back in. My body was still heaving from the sobbing, and I looked around the room to see the mouths of my friends gaping wide open. "Did what I think just happen really happen?" everyone said.

My roommate's father died of a heart attack at a very young age when she was only 14. He was notorious for making appearances and pulling pranks after he passed away. He was or still is a very strong spirit.
