When I was 14 and interested in the supernatural and unknown, my friend and I purchased a Ouija Board. It started out with us asking stupid questions and thinking it was just a pile of bullshit, but as the night wore on and more friends gathered, we started getting bolder about the questions we asked. We first talked to a man named Hector, who claimed he was attracted to my older sister and visited our house nightly to watch her sleep. He described what she looked like and detailed descriptions of her room, such as posters on the walls and things. Nicole (my sister) later confessed that sometimes in the dead of the night, she would wake up from a sexually violent dream and always had the same man in it, who's name happened to be Hector.

After talking to Hector, a friend of mine said "We wanna talk to a voodoo witch!" the game was still funny to us and we thought no harm would be done. Suddenly, the planchette started spinning like mad in figure eights and stopped. The person channeled claimed to be a witch. When we started laughing and mocking her, she spelled out "Jokes on you." Confused, we asked her what she meant. There was no reply after that. Suddenly, the lights started flickering and the doors to the room slammed hard. Now we were taking her seriously. We took our hands off the board quickly and hesitantly put them back on after a minute. The wild figure eights started again. We asked her for more proof. She gave the numbers 6-9-78 and then numbers 10-12-97 and then said goodbye. we had no clue to what those numbers meant. Until my friends brother died in a car accident on October 12, 1997. His birthday was June 9, 78.
