Three Year Old Sees Ghost

The following is what my 3 year-old daughter has seen and what she has told me about what she see. First some background. My husband's Aunt was very close to my children. When my daughter was 11 months old Aunt Patti found out that she had cancer and didn't have much more time left. She died when my daughter was 14 months old. She died in our house in the room down the hall from my daughters room.

About six months ago my daughter was sitting on the floor playing next to me while I was online. She pointed to the front door (which I can see from the computer desk) and asked "who is she?" I looked at the front door and didn't see anyone. I asked her "where?" She once again pointed to the front door and said "her." I held out my hand and asked her to show me. She took my hand walked to the front door, stopped about 3 feet from the door and said "She's right there." I asked her "Well what do they want." She said "I don't know" So I went back to the computer and she went back to playing. That night she called me to her room crying saying that she wanted me to tell "the lady" to go away and not to watch her. I was confused as there was no one there. Several days later we were at my mom-in-laws house and were telling her about what was going on with our daughter. She said "I bet it's Patti checking on the kids!" She got out a picture of Patti and called my daughter over, showed her the picture and asked her if she knew who that was. My daughter took 4 steps back from the picture and said "I don't like that one, She's sick, She died" Now at this point I would like to restate that my daughter was only 14 months old when Patti died and does not remember her or what she looked like. We recently moved and my daughter no longer talks about "the lady" so we are guessing that she did not follow us to the new house.

The second time our daughter mentioned something in the house was what she called the "tee-shirt" man. She was so scared of whatever it was that she was seeing that she refused to walk down the hall to her room (which was next to my room and you could see the closet from the hall) unless my door was shut or the closet was shut. I thought it was just her imagination but mindful of what she had seen before I didn't ignore that maybe she was seeing something. Remember she had said early "I don't like that ONE" She was petrified of whatever it was she was seeing. After 3 weeks of her waking me from a dead sleep screaming I went to a friend who is a Wicca and he came over and stayed the night. He also talked to my daughter. He wasn't sure what was there but also said not to pretend that my daughters imagination was behind what she was seeing. He placed several charms in the house and slowly the fear left my daughter. Since we have moved she hasn't been afraid once, nor has she talked about seeing anyone. She doesn't use her "protector" (a teddy bear she empowered to protect her) or use her blanket as a shield to sleep under. When I questioned her about the "tee-shirt" man I always used non-descriptive terms and never referred by sex, age or anything else that may have influenced her. She always described him the same way. A man, with brown hair, that was "mean", and lived in Daddy's tee-shirts. If anyone else has experience with children who see spirits I would like any input as to how to help prepare my daughter should she continue to see spirits, or how to help her should this happen again.
