Bottom Bunk

First of all, if you've read the Ouija Board story that i submitted, please ignore that line(changed to delete expletive) about calling my friend "Bob". I meant to go back and change that part. This happenned to me several years ago, when I was in fifth grade. I was ten years old at the time. Towards the end of the school year, the entire grade took a three day trip to a place called Camp Letts for "Outdoor Education", where we did all kinds of activities such as canoeing, seining, orienteering, and decoy-making. We stayed in cabins according to sex. The cabins were large, single story buildings, divided into three rooms. Two of these rooms held bunk beds for us students, and the center room had three beds and a fireplace, for the teachers and chaperones. The students' rooms had four bunk beds along each wall, and one in the center. One end of the room was connected to the teachers' room, and the rest of the building. The other end faced outside, and had a single door with a screen door. When I first entered the room, my attention was immediately drawn to a bunk at the end of the room, next to the door. This bunk only had a mattress on the top, with absolutely nothing on the bottom, except for a frame. Before considering any other bed, even before anyone else chose a bunk, I threw my things on this bed, and jumped up. Before I go on, ever since I've been a little kid, I've experienced sensations and feelings that no one else feels. I've recently realized that these "vibes", as I call them, are a part of my emerging psychic abilities. (yeah, i know what you think; "yeah right, psychcic, my butt!") When I jumped on this bunk, I felt a vibe that was very unusual and unfamiliar to me. I left my things there, however, and said nothing. After that, I didn't feel that vibe again.

However, later, on the second night, I felt the vibe as I began to fall asleep. But I dismissed it and went to sleep anyway. After a few hours, I woke up suddenly. The vibe was back, only stronger than before. I couldn't place this vibe at all. It was something I had never felt before, and it made me very uncomfortable. I couldn't fall back asleep, and soon, the feeling changed. Instead of all over, the feeling began to be focused at my back. I felt that there was something below me, where nothing should be. I slowly turned over and looked at the bottom bunk. There was a mattress on the bottom bunk, and there was someone sleeping on it. Suddenly, nothing seemed real in the room. I felt as though I was swimming. As if in a daze, I laid back and went back to sleep. I didn't wake up untill the next morning.

That day we left, and I only told a few of my friends. I didn't tell anyone that was in my cabin. I've never had the oppertunity to return, and I can't find any information on Camp Letts other than the founder's name and basic life info. That's all there is to that story. To this day, I've never felt a vibe quite like the one I felt that night.
