My father passed away suddenly, when I was a young girl. About a month later I was sleeping in my bed when I smelt Daddy's aftershave. I walked out to the hallway & could feel my daddy. For years Daddy stayed with us, he would come in & check on us, & help find lost articles.

When I moved out on my own I thought my visits would have stopped because Daddy didn't follow my brothers or sisters when they moved out.

One night as I was walking up the steps to my apartment, my downstairs neighbor, Jimmy, asked me to come in. Okay?!?! He then preceded to tell me that all day he heard footsteps coming from upstairs in my apartment. He asked me if my room mate was home, No. Then Jimmy stated that he went upstairs & knocked on my door to see if he could use my phone, no one answered the door. He went back to his own apartment about 5minutes later he heard the footsteps again.

We both entered my apartment, & Jimmy followed closely behind me. I just stood in the middle of my kitchen & calmly told him "Oh Jimmy, my daddy came by to see if I was alright. Don't worry about it, I will be fine"

As he was walking out the door Jimmy stopped, turned towards me & asked, "But isn't your father dead?"

"Yes, Jimmy he is. Good night" And with that I shut the door.
