Dark Man

This is a true story. I have a routine before I go to bed. I brush my teeth and then wash my face at 11pm because I get home at 10:45pm. Then I would head off to bed, take my glasses off, leave one light on in my room and the radio on real low.

One day in April of 2000, my period was late and I thought I could be pregnant. I told myself maybe I'll get it soon and don't worry bout it. So I got home from work and did my normal bedtime routine. I went to bed at 11:07 pm. During the night I awake because my beds is shaking. I start opening my eyes real slow because of the light that I leave on.

I could see a tall, white man in a black long coat standing right in front of me. I froze because I was too scared. I couldn't see his face because of the way I was laying down. I could tell he was white and old because of his hands. He had a little square piece of paper in his hand with blood on it.

He started walking real slowly to the window beside my bed with the end of his long black coat dragging on the carpet and he disappeared. I was relieved for a minute and I reached my hand down my pants to see if that was my blood on the paper. The I looked at my fingers and there was blood all over it. I had period during the night. Then the man appeared again walking towards my bed from the window.

He stopped at the middle of my bed and looked down at me. I closed my eyes as hard as I could and fell asleep. I didn't see him ever again. When I woke up that morning, I looked at my fingers and there was the dried blood.
