this has been going on for several years now, and i want it to stop. i'm going to do my best to tell you what happened, and if anything similar has happened to you, please contact me.

it started when i was about 15. a man would appear to rise up from the floor beside my bed, and it would only happen at night when the lights were off. he is tall, has a medium build, long white hair, wears a black cloak. i have not seen his face completely, but i believe he has blue eyes. he is always accompanied by a strange sinking feeling in my gut, and sometimes when i can't *see* him i still get the feeling that he is there. he does not speak, even when spoken to, he just stands and stares, and sometimes will slowly walk around gazing at things, using his left middle finger and ring finger to point or touch. my dog leaves the room before he gets there. he seems polite enough, he does not come into the bathroom with me (but stands waiting at the door), and if i ask him to leave, he usually does within five minutes. i saw him for years before i said anything to anyone. and when i did, i got the biggest shock of my life. my friend dustin has seen him, too. dustin sees other spirits, and most of the others seem afraid of this particular one. though he has never hurt dustin or myself, i have recently found someone who has seen him and *has* been hurt.

there are five of us now who have seen him. we have nothing in common between all of us. we write down the times and dates when he comes, and there doesn't seem to be a pattern. we don't even know why he's here. so if you have any information or personal experience with this spirit (i'm not sure what to call him) please contact me.

i'm not sure what kind of punishment i'm going to get for writing this. last time i tried to find help, he shut my computer off. i am tired of being scared to live in my own house.
