Ghostly Voice

I was in my room with a friend. We had been listening to the radio when my dog began to bark. I turned off the radio and we both listened and tried to figure out what Muffy, my dog, was barking at. Just then, we heard a young girl's voice call out my dog's name. My friend and I ran out into the other room to see who said it, but no one was there... Muffy was on her hind legs dancing around and looking around above her like something was petting her or something. Besides us, there were no other people in the house, so who or what called out my dog's name is still a mystery, though since there was a young girl who had drowned in a swimming pool in our backyard before we had ever moved in, I suspect that might have been the voice I heard.
