The Ghost Whom Came to Visit

I married in the winter of "94" and moved to my husbands hometown of Whalling,TN. Our rental house was a three bedroom ranch that sat in the middle of nowhere surronded by a forrest. From the first time I stepped into the house I felt as though someone or something was watching me! My husband had to work midnights so that left me and my puppy alone all night.
At first when I started noticing things I shrugged it off as having jitters of my new life in a different state away from family and friends.
One nite I went to bed and the dog was sleeping at my feet when we heard the doorknob to the front door start to jiggle, my dog jumped up and started growling at the doorway of my room which from the bed I could see the front door. At first I thought oh great my husbands home! As I was getting out of bed to go open the door the jiggling turned into a pounding and the door started to shake from the pressure being put on it. I ran back into my room to look out my side window which faces the side of the door to see if it was my husband playing a joke on me. instead I still heard the pounding but noone was there! I ran back to my bed and called my husband to tell him what was going on and it all stopped. I didnt say anything to anyone and the next day I started to see someone out of the corner of my eyes standing in the kitchen when I was on the living room couch!
This would occur almost on a daily basis and I new I had to stay put until we moved into a condo closer to my husbands job. My dog started to bark at the backdoor all the time when noone was there and I had to move his water and food into another room so he would eat. I got to the point of losing it when my husband gave me the news I was waiting for we were moving!!! When the weekend arrived we decided to take a walk behind the house as we got into the back part of the trees we noticed old broken up headstones dating back to the 1800's. it was obvious that noone took care of the cemetary anymore because of the overgrown trees and broken up headstones. I believe
that the spirits visiting my home were that of those in the cemetary who could not rest in PEACE! I moved out ASAP and now the house sits empty with a for sale sign in the front yard.
