My mother and my three siblings lived an apartment complex in Costa Mesa California, that was definitely "Haunted" 1975, date this all began. 

Haunting #1. Saw large figure walk by the double sinks by the bathroom and then disappear.

#2 Mom making dinner, her boyfriend comes over for this dinner with his daughter, his daughter stands at the door with it wide open, my mother said, shut the door, little girl said no there is a cat in the way. Then my mother freaks out and screams there is a cat, get that cat out of here before it pees everywhere, we all chase it around to try to catch it and it jumps in the middle of the couch, never to be seen again. We flipped the couch tore the bottom off (cheap single mom furniture) and no cat.

#3 Mail man there and then he is not.

#4 Mirror over the tea cart with Solid Silver Tea Set (inherited, much better then the couch) I came home from school and the mirror was lying face up in the middle of the room. Now ,if the mirror had fallen, it would have fallen onto the tea set, but it was up and over the tea cart and tea set and face up in the middle of the room.

#5 Brother and horrible nightmares, actually never knew if it was night terrors or ghost.

#6 I was sleeping one night, and out of no where I awoke to my mother at the foot of my bed. I asked her why she was there, she said she came to tuck me in. I, of course paused, took note of her dress and noticed that this mom at the foot of my bed was wearing the wrong night gown, my mother was wearing a different one earlier ,when she tucked me in. And it was not her common practice to come tuck me in again, once was it. I figured this out and threw my covers over my head and this fake mom left with out a creak on the floor boards. I of course asked her about it and she told me it was not her. That's when we all got a necklace with a cross on it. 

#7 Pool heater always got turned up to scald. Even with lock and key and no way to get into equipment.

To many other things happened at this apartment complex but usually in apt 103 (ours), 105, and the apartment above (205). Never any other apartments.

I would love to know if anything has happened there since. Maybe I will go back and research?
