Moving Shadow

One day I was in my hallway, when I saw a shadow. I assumed it was my shadow and paid no attention to it until I saw it jerk realizing I had not moved. 

I looked to see if any other person was around me, but nothing and nobody was there. I began to get afraid. Just as I decided to go down the stairs, the shadow ran down the hall and disappeared at the end of the hall. 

This always scared me so I try not to think about it.
