I feel really stupid because I keep submitting these stories, but I cant help that these things happen to me and it feels good to share them and know Im not alone.
When I was pregnate with my son I dropped out of school and moved in with his father. He lived in a really old house that he bought for cheap and thought he would fix up. The house was an original log cabin built in the 1700's. It had been modified over the years inside and out,but whoever did it wasnt very good at it. Upstairs was our bedroom, it had a full bathroom in it and a doorway that led to the attic.
I am fasinated with old houses so when I moved in I immediatly went to the attic to see what I could find. I found Old books from the 20's to the 60's and some of those name cards that you get when you graduate. I found some old decorations from the 70's to the early 80's and some old pidctures that looked like they could have been from the early 1900's. I didnt think too much of it, I was just thrilled to have found all of this stuff.
Now the house wasnt very well insulated or something because it was always chilly, but the 2nd bedroom was always warmer then the rest of the house. We would have the heat on 70 and you could only really feel the warmth in that room, which was located upstairs right across from our room. Like I said the house was always chilly, but our room was freezing to the point where your nose would run and your toes would be purple.
About a month after I moved in I was upstairs asleep and I awoke for no reason, I happend to look across the room at our bedroom door and saw a little boy in a sailor suit staring at me, I woke my boyfriend up to tell him but he told me I was crazy. A couple nights later I awoke to the sound of someone playing the piano in a part of the house that used to be a parlor, they were playing greensleaves. My former boyfriend would leave for work at 3am it got to the point where I would call my mom at 3am and stay on the phone with her until dawn because I was scared.
I
later found out some history on th
e house. Like how the 2nd room that was always so warm was not an original part
of the house and was added on in the mid to late 70s and how A girl that lived
there in the 50s was killed in a car accident right in front of her house, (I
never really saw her but after I had gone in the attic and found all of those
name cards, I had thrown most of them away and they kept popping up all over
the house.)they all had one name on them too so I am guessing they were hers.
Trust me I am glad when our relationship didnt work out and I moved out of that
house. He still lives there, but I think my mom is happy too, now that I dont
call her at 3am.
