Ok, my friend who I will refer to as "R" lives in a haunted house. The house was built about 150 years ago. It's a average size house with a living room, a kitchen, 2 baths, 3 bedrooms, and a small room off of the living room which has the computer in it.
R's great grand parents where the first inhabitants of the house. Her grandmother grew up there. And now R's mom rents it from her grandmother. Because her grandmother grew up there she has this weird attachment to it, and won't let any changes be made in the house. So now over the years the house is in disrepair. It is falling apart from the inside, which gives it this really creepy feel.
Now on to the ghosts:
Both of R's great grandparents died in that house. Her great grandfather died in the computer room, and her great grandmother died on a couch (which is still there) in the living room. When R first told me this it kind of creeped me out. But over the years, as I have come to spend a lot of time there, it doesn't bother me that much. Her great grandparents don't make themselves noticed very often...only on occasions. But I have seen proof as to there presence.
Next to the couch that her great grandmother died in there is a rocking chair. And every so often the rocking chair will start to rock on it's own, but it never rocks more than 15 min. And her Great grandfather likes to fool around with the TV and change the channels...that can get annoying but he usually stops if you ask.
But I think the creepiest ghosts in that house is Jeff. Jeff was R's mothers boyfriend. He had a severe depression problem, and was an alcoholic to the fullest extent. He committed suicide in that house last Thanksgiving (99'). He died in R's mothers bedroom which is next to R's room. The freaky things is I was there the night he died.
Now hardly anyone goes it that room. It just gives off a bad vibe. It's an uncomfortable feeling when your in there. And to this day R's mom hasn't been in that room since. Instead she has made the living room into her bed room.
I have only been in that room once since he died, and when you go in there there is this eerie feeling in the air. The room is also colder than the rest of the house, even the basement.
Very few things have happened in the house having to do with Jeff, but one just happened the other day which prompted me to write this. 5 of us, including me where in R's room talking about a party we are going to have this Friday. R pulled out a bottle of peppermint shnops to show us what she was saving for the party. As soon as she placed the bottle down it popped up in the air and fell over. We all stared at the bottle in amazement. R picked up the bottle and placed it on the window sill, and it did the same thing. Only this time it went higher and smashed on the floor. We all got freaked after that and left the house. We knew it was Jeff to and not the other ghosts, cause Jeff was an alcoholic.
I have many stories to tell....but not now. I will some time. And after 18 years of seeing and hearing
weird things it has definitely made me a believer of the spirit world and other supernatural things.
