I have recently begun reading about paranormal experiences, after several years of steering clear of them. It seems to have brought back memories that I had suppressed. All of the things that have happened to me in the past, happened during my teen years. Let's just say I'm not a teenager anymore, but as I have remembered these incidents they have brought back the feelings with them as if they were still happening.
The first encounter I had was when I was 12-13. I was at my best friend's house and we decided to play with a Ouija board we had found. DO NOT EVER DO THIS!! Myself, my best friend and her two younger brothers were seated on two beds next to each other. They all shared one room, my friend on a twin bed and her brothers on bunk beds with about 2 feet in between the beds. She was on one bed with one brother, I was on the other with the other brother, and we were holding the Ouija between us on our knees. We began asking if anything was there (YES), who they were (A FRIEND). We all thought one of the others was moving it, and said so out loud. All of sudden we all felt a heavy presence (confirmed by talking later). My friend's bed lifted off the floor approximately 6 inches and slammed down. Then it did it again. We sat there staring at one another, open mouthed. Then the bunk beds lifted about 6 inches and slammed down. We were out of the room at a run, screaming our heads off. My friend's parents were yelling at us to quit throwing things around and to shut up.
When everyone finally was quiet and we explained to her parents, they investigated and of course, found no one there - only gashes in the hardwood floor where the legs of the beds had slammed down (which was blamed on us). We never, ever used the Ouija again - in fact, her dad took it out back and burned it at our request.
Kids' imaginations, or something supernatural, you decide.
All I know if I'll never touch a Ouija again.
