Teddy the Wonder Cat

About two weeks ago, my mother had to put our cat down because of a thyroid condition that would continue to consume her tiny skin and bone body until her liver or kidneys failed. After doing so, she told me that she heard a cat meow around the house. No one in the area owns a cat and in any case, it was loud enough that the cat should have been visible. I took this information with a grain of salt since I figured it was guilt at putting her down that was playing with her head.
But on Father's Day, while watching my husband, brother, father and brother - in law playing wiffle ball (sort of anyway), I heard Teddy's meow. Now anyone who owns a pet that is capable of making sounds (cat, dog, guinea pig, etc.) knows that they all have very distinct sounds. For instance, I can always tell which one of my three cats is meowing by the sound and intensity of the volume. Anyhow, since I've known Teddy for over ten years, I know her meow better than any other cat's.
I loved her and she was so happy in House Springs, that I hope she keeps on hunting those mice.
