The Ghost Who Had a Crush

When I was young and still in school, there was a boy who many girls liked, named Tyshaun. He was handsome and he had an amiable disposition. For a few weeks one month, he came to school in a bothered state. He and I were good friends, so I asked him what was the matter. He told me that not to laugh at him, but he thought he had a secret admirer. The problem was this admirer happened to be a ghost. I thought he was pulling my leg, but he insisted it was true. He told me how a few times when he was taking a shower and the mirror had become foggy, he'd get out and see a heart drawn in the condensation with the words "Ty loves me" or "Ty is mine" or sometimes just "Tyshaun" in elegant woman's cursive. He said that he sometimes thought he heard female giggling when he'd be getting dressed in the morning(as I told you he was handsome). And he sometimes had the suspision he was being watched. I believed him, for he was a pretty level-headec guy, not one for making up long absurd sto! ries like this. I told him to go home and speak as if to himself of a girlfriend, or when he was on the phone speak very loudly of a girl he liked. I thought it might make the ghost-girl think he had a girlfirend. It worked, I supposed, for he never told me anything else about his invisible girl. I am still somewhat amused at the fact that simple crushes of the teenage world can exist in both lifetimes.
