It was approximately 1994 and I was pregnant with my first child. My husband and I decided that we would meet up with my sister and her husband and take a trip to Eureka Springs, AR for the weekend. 

We arrived at the Crescent Hotel in the afternoon and we wanted to get to town before some of the little shops there closed. We quickly checked in and because we were on the second floor (and I am not a big fan of elevators) we chose to walk up the stairs to our rooms. We freshened up in our rooms, and met my sister and her husband at the top of the stairs within 10 minutes. The staircase which we were uses was one set of stairs from the lobby to a landing with a large mirror on the wall then another set of stairs to the second floor. As we preceded down the stairs, I noticed a man wearing black clothes in a reflection in the mirror. As I turned to go down to the lobby, I glanced behind and no one was there, confused, I looked down to the lobby...no one was there either! I didn't think too much of it, but stated to my family that, "I know you are going to think I am crazy, but I swear I just saw a man wearing black in the mirror, but there is no one on the stairs or in the lobby."

it came the day for us to leave. We checked out and as we were doing so, my sister grabbed some printed material about the hotel off of the counter. My husband and I returned to Dallas and my sister and her husband returned to Russellville. The next day after returning, my sister called me and said, "You are going to be so creeped out!" While waiting for her daughter, my sister began browsing through the brochures about the hotel. She came across an article which tells how the hotel had been a hospital originally and since becoming a hotel, has had several sightings of ghosts. It went on to tell of the particular individuals who had died while building, working or staying at the hospital/hotel. One was a construction worker who fell to his death while working and was described as "The Man in Black"!!! YOU SAW A GHOST!!!!! As the hair on my arms and the back of my neck rose, I realized that that was in fact what I had seen....a ghost!
