These are some of the events that have happened in my home recently. I can say there have been many more, but I don't want to write a novel, just a short story :o). Let me just say that odd things began happening when I was about 13 years of age. I am now 20, and things seem to have gotten far more active of late. The initial contact scared the hell half out of me. I had been standing in the basement, about 10 feet from the doorway to my bedroom. I had been speaking with my younger brother, Grant. I had been a bit upset with him that evening for reasons I no longer recall, at any rate, He walked up the stairs not too terribly happy with me either. I wanted to say something else to him ( I had felt bad about being rude to him and had intended to apologize to him) After I had called his name, I heard his footsteps going down the hall to his room. Expecting no reply I went to turn and enter my room. I felt this chill and then directly beside me left ear I herd a rather husky low whisper "Hey Grant" it said. It gave me such a start I ran to my room and locked the door. Ok, so I'm a big chicken, but I had reacted, then thought about how stupid a reaction it really was. They have not spoken to me again since then. I am afraid they were not at all impressed with my wonderful wit and conversational skills :o).

I will now tell you a separate incident, this one involved a different spirit. I believe this one is a young child. As things go, I believe she was the first to make her presence known but that was when I was about 13, and would prefer not to touch upon that presently. When I walk down the steps to go to my room I can feel her watching me from the window in the laundry room. I feel that she is more curious than menacing. I am sorry to say that my cat does not feel the same. One day I had left to take my younger brother to school. I had come upstairs, closed the door to the basement, then let the cat into the house by way of the back door. When I came home later that day my poor cat Bella was missing. I searched the house, then I herd her meowing at the basement door. I opened the door and she shot out. I felt so bad for her, she was so scared she had inadvertently left me a present on the step. She will not go down there without me now, she used to go lay on my bed to hide form our dogs, but she will not do that anymore.

I also had an incident in bright day light in my kitchen, its not a very large deal, but it has happened quite often now. I will be standing with my back to the wall that the basement door is in, and I will catch a glimpse of a shadow walking behind me, keep in mind, I am alone in the house when these things happen, it has also happened to my mother. One day it walked behind me and went to the basement door, The door had been open because I had been doing laundry and my hands were full when I ascended the steps and I just didn't bother to close it again, The figure as I said walked behind me and went through that door, it closed the door after passing through the doorway. I have also received some help from them as well though. I was hunting for my hair tie one day, and being silly I asked if one of them had seen it, about 2 minutes later, I walked into the living room just in time to see a flash of light above the sofa. I went to look and low and behold my hair tie had fell down between the cushions. I would have never thought to look there had it not been for the flash. I suppose it could be wishful thinking, or coincidences I suppose but I like to think it was something else.

Thanks for bearing with me. Any insight you may be able to give me on this would be greatly appreciated. Fell free to E-mail me at Undine42z@yahoo.com
