The Scratched Window

Well, Stouffville is a relatively haunted area. I love it, but ever since I moved here, I have been feeling really uneasy.

I have these bushes, outside my window (I live in a bungalow) and they srape on my window. When I first moved here, I was nervous around them. But, eventually, I got used to it.

One night, I was sleeping in my bed, feeling quite safe and warm, when I heard the branches of that bush, scrape the window. I thought to myself 'holy crap, i wish those bushes would stop that', and I thought nothing more of it.

Since we had been robbed a few weeks before, I never thought that it could not be the bush.

The next morning, I woke up, and there were three, claw like scratches, on my window. You could easily see them. It looked like some freak had taken nails, and scratched the window. The marks where about 30 cm long, and 1 inch apart. I looked out, and there was 2 (and only two) foot prints, like the kind that you make when you stand in mud.

After that, I moved my bed AWAY from the window, and have been nervous at night, ever since.
