We'll as you all know by now, this creature seems unkillable. And I'd have to agree with you. But she isn't uncatchable! That's right we finally caged this maddened creature!! A local veterinarian told us he'd do it for free. He asked what the animal was and we told him.. "what animal? this is more like a damn werewolf or somethin!" We'll he set these huge bear traps, and then put up an electrical fencing around the stable. We hung a dead opposum out for bait. Sure enough later that night around 1:20 a.m. she came, trampling down the field lane, and lerched right for the bait..the vet ran to the behind of the creature, and closed the electrical fencing, causing the creature to shock its self. It fell limp. It was too dark to make positive I.D. on the creature the vet said, so we loaded it into a cage in the back of the truck. It took 7 of us guys to barely lift it. After she was loaded {yes it is a she} we all went into the lighted barn/tractor shed to enjoy a cold one. When we came out the creature was up on all fours and growling at us, she had broken the steel cage used for large dogs! We froze as it came near, then I shouted at it , and it galloped off!! We took chase in the chevy truck, but lost it near where the two feilds crisscross.
