The Wirring Terror

Over the summer, I visited the Philippines. My cousin told me a story about a white lady ghost who scares and hurts people. I didn't believe one bit of it because I knew he was trying to scare me. But after my experience, I had realized something...
One night, it was only my cousin, grandma, aunt, and I in the house, my parents had gone out. I stayed up quite late, til around 1-ish, watching tv, talking, and doing whatever. After I got tired, I went to bed. In the middle of the night, at around 4 a.m., I woke up to use the bathroom. I slowly opened my eyes and in the distance I saw something white. I knew it wasn't the light from the window because the curtains were closed and it was pitch black in the room. I realized that the creature was moving at an alarming rate, as if it was coming towards me. I quickly ran into the bathroom and turned the light on. I was hoping after I used it the creature would be gone. I went back to bed and the white creature was still there, moving and it seemed as if it was getting closer. I decided to close my eyes and think of something else. Everytime I'd close my eyes, I would see it, as if it was trying to scare me. I tried to keep my mind off it, but it was useless.
Finally I woke up my parents and slept with them. The next morning I looked at the area where I saw the white figure. What I saw was a white electric fan moving back and forth.
I realized that 1. don't let people tell you scary stories right before you sleep. 2. before jumping to conclusions, remember what's in the room. and 3. electric fans aren't evil.
I know it's not a ghost story exactly, but I thought it was kind of amusing. :)
