my whole life i feel like i've been surrounded by ghosts. either it has happened to me or my mother. in one house you could always hear the footsteps of someone walking up and down the hall. in the same house, my mother was in the bathroom when the doorknob to the closet started turning back and forth. a few weeks later she was washing dishes and something yanked her shirt from behind.

since i've been on my own, i have experienced similar situations. i started by having dreams about something pulling me from my bed, and when i would wake up i could still feel the force of their hands on me. one day we were listening to the stereo, and one of the cd's just flew across the room. it scared me to death. then, a few weeks later, the tv went silent and the stereo turned on on full blast. these are just a few of the things me and my family have experienced. there are just too many too list. i've gotten used to the disturbing things. now i just try not to be startled by them, even though now and then they scare me.
