Who Is Scratching the Wall

a few years ago, my husband and i lived in a old house. we were renting and knew nothing about the history of the house, you could tell that someone there was perhaps violent, by the broken hinges on the bedroom doors, though we were not informed of any wrong doing prior too our living arrangements. 

one night about a month before we moved out, and into our own home. as my husband and i lay in bed, i heard the sound of scratching. on the wall above my head. just as most woman do i shook my husband and awoke him from a sound sleep; however he did not hear the sound, i described it too him, and he assures me everything would be fine. 

well i don't have too tell you, i didn't sleep much at all that night. in the morning, my husband decided too put my mind at ease and check out the walk in closet directly on the other side of our bed. when he pulled aside the clothes, we both observe long scratch marks running down the wall. they were not there before that night and they resembled fingernail marks. after seeing this my husband informed me we needed too start packing. we left the house and its history behind. 

we experienced a great deal of odd things in that house, perhaps ill share them with you at a later date
