The Witch's Curse
From: Anonymous Story type: Ghost Location: Seattle, Washington Source: Form Submission
This account happened to a friend of mine's father's friend. We'll call her Sarah. It happened when her father's friends were traveling through the forest in order to find a good camping ground. Their tires caught in a rut in the forest. As they tried to get out, their motor stalled, adding to their worries. As they got out to investigate, an old woman who looked to be in her late nineties emerged from the bushes and jumped on the hood of their car. They ran back into the car and locked the doors shut. Since they were in a convertible, and it was a hot day, they had their sunroof down. As they tried in vain to start the stalled motor, the motor suddenly sputtered back to life, and they were able to crank the sunroof closed. Just as it locked shut, the old woman jumped onto the cloth roof and dug her nails in. This may not sound horrible, except for the fact that her nails were at least eight inches long. While she was doing this, she started cackling and hissing like a witch. They were becoming more and more panicked as they became closer and closer to their deaths. Suddenly the tires freed themselves of the rut, and they sped away, never looking back. The old woman literally flew off the roof and landed on her feet (remember, this was a woman, or witch in her late nineties) and ran cackling into the bushes, never to be seen again, or so they thought.
After reading, or hearing this experience, there has been a curse placed upon you. Whenever you are in the woods alone, or even with a friend that has heard this, day or night, will be visited by the old witch. We do not know for sure if this is true, but there is only one way to find out....
