An Encounter from Ouji to Church

I'd like to start by saying I am a completely open minded person with regards to paranormal. I hold a proffesional position in the community and am just interested in the truth, whatever that is. The following is an account of events that I hope you will not find scary, as to be honest they were not, but in my mind they cetainly go a way to proving the existence of something we cannot explain. if you want further information feel free to email me.
I am 25 years old and the following is a account of events that started 10 years ago. It started when one of my mum's friends lost her father and was absolutely distraught about it. She wanted to speak to him one last time and asked my mother if she would attend a spiritualist church with her. My mum agreed, as she really does not believe in any of that sort of thing she had no problem attending. From what I gather, the spiritualist church movement is really a large seance, only it is held in a bona fida church or chapel. Anyway, my mother and her friend were there and the service began, and the medium was at the front trying to contact people form the other side. All of a sudden he simply says my mums full name, only it was her maiden name, and asks if there is such a person in the audience. My mother made herself known, and was then passed on a message from a person who claimed to be a gaurdian angel, a very close friend of her parents (my grandparents) who had died over twenty years earlier when his car had broken down in the snow and he had died trying to walk back to the town. The medium said that he was looking out for her and her family and that there were things he wanted her to know. My mum as i said really isnt into this at all, and even though she was given very specific details from the medium, really did just laugh it off.
Anyway, my mums friend never did get to speak to her dad on that occaion and several months later at a party at my parents house she asked if they could try to do an ouji board and see if that would help. Now in england i dont think ouiji is as popular as it is in America and my parents dont own an ouiji so cut up some letters etc and performed it on a glass table. My mums friend and her husband tried unsuccessfully to gain anybody on the board. My mother then tried with my father and the board immediately came to life, they were using a glass as a planchette??. Before my mum even asked a question she was cmpletely freaked and demanded that someone take her place. She was literally in tears. Her friend took her place and my mum went to the kitchen in an adjoiing room to calm herself down.
Now as I live and breath I swear the board, before a question had even been asked was spelling bring her back, bring her back, as quickly as you can imagine. My father was freaked by this and demanded to know who they were dealing with. The glass steadied a little (authority) and slowly spelled the full name of my grandparent's dead friend, my mothers guardian angel. My mum came back into the room but refused to look at or talk to the board. Whatever was controlling the glass was getting frantic, it spelt out 'buytobyhelmet' and moved rapidly off the table and fell to the carpet. That was the only message other than those mentioned. To start with it made no sense. Buy to by helmet?? Of course my mum calmed down after that but she hadnt seen the message as she wanted nothing to do with it. A couple of days later my mum was clearing up and came across the note pad from that night. My name is Tobias, my grandparents call me Toby. My father didn't catch on to the meaning of the message. I had recently started doing odd jobs on a local farm in my summer holidays and used a scrambler (off road motorcycle) to get around. as it was private land i never wore a helmet. Of course, from then on my mother insisted. Now, this may be coincid
ence but about 2 months after i started wearing a helmet I had a pretty bad crash, my fault, by driving directly into a tree. I broke a couple of ribs and my arm, I also cracked the helmet and suffered concussion. This is a completely true story and I am now at an age where i would like to discover more about the 'truth'. I have never personally done an ouiji as I am worried as to the outcome. If you have any comments please contact me.
