Do Not Challenge an Entity

A few years back, my husband and I lived in a trailer house. Our room was in the back of the trailer next to the bathroom. The door to our bedroom would sometimes spontaneously slowly shut by itself. This was not wind or a 'bad' door. Everyone who saw it happen was freaked out by it, it just wasn't right. Everyone, including myself, had eerie feelings when in the bathroom. One night when my husband was working, my mother was over keeping me company, playing cards in the kitchen which was on the other end of the trailer from our bedroom. Anyway, my mother got up and went to the bathroom. She was sitting on the toilet when she saw my bedroom door do it's thing. She thought she would be cocky and said aloud, "Alright, show yourself. I'm not afraid of you." At that instant, I heard my mother scream and race out of the dark hallway into the kitchen where I was sitting waiting for her. She was scared out of her mind, I asked her what happened. She told me she had challenged my bedroom door, and at that instant, the lights in the bathroom, my bedroom, and the hallway went off. The lights on the opposite side of the trailer, where I was, were still on. Although shaken, we continued to play cards. About a half hour later, the lights on the opposite side of the trailer came back on all the sudden. We continued to have eerie feelings in that trailer until we moved and my bedroom door continued to do it's thing. But, the lights never did that again and my mother says she'll never challenge anything again. She has problems saying the word 'challenge'!
