I have had many encounters in my life . I have always said that ghosts are attracted to me. If I move into a house it suddenly becomes haunted and previous owners have told me they have experienced nothing. One of these hauntings scared me so bad I eventually moved out of the house.

This story is about that encounter. I had just got divorce and was dating a man about the age of 27 . He was a complete and total skeptic at the time that I was haunted. We lived in a trailer with my two boys . The first week he was living with me we had fallen asleep on the couch watching tv with all the lights off in the house. When he nudged me and said turn the kitchen light off dear. I immediately awoke telling him that I didn't turn it on. So I got up walked over to the kitchen sure enough the light was on. There was no way that my children could have turned it on the light was above the stove and it didn't work before that night and it never worked after I turned it off.

It was about a week after that incident that things turned from scared to frightened. We had gone up to his mothers house for dinner and it was very late when we got back about midnight to be exact. The kids was asleep and my boyfriend and I was just thinking about getting the kids in the house and to bed. He picked my youngest up and went ahead of me in the house. I picked my oldest up and he started screaming " Mom Don't go in there bad man will get you " I ignored him But when I got up the steps to the house I had the worst feeling in the pit of my stomach . Something wasn't right there wasn't no lights on in the entire house. I called to my boyfriend and he called back that the house had no power. It was the middle of winter and I said lets take the kids to my parents. And call the electric company from there.

Well we go to my moms house call the electric company and they tell us its a switch on the outside . So we leave the kids with my mom and go back to the house and sure enough it was the switch on the outside. We thought it was our neighbors playing a sick joke but boy was we wrong. We turned the outside light on so we could see when we brought the kids back. We Leave get the kids come back and all lights off again . We checked the outside switch wasn't it. My boyfriend goes inside to check the fuse box. I pulled the car up right next to the door for light. All of a sudden I look up and there is a what appears to be a flickering light walking towards my boyfriend in the back of the house. I step out of the car and scream for him to come back . I hear rustling and I knew I couldn't leave the kids. I thought someone had broken in and was robbing the place. My boyfriend comes out and I ask him did he hear or see any one. He says "We are not staying here tonight." I said "Why" He says" Because there is something in there but it isn't human" I asked " What did you see " He said "Nothing thats the problem somebody grabbed me threw me into the living room and told me to leave, and boy did I.

He closed the door and sat down. I walked to the house and closed the door without locking it. I walked back to my car and got in and With all the doors closed and windows up a strong cold gust of wind hit me. I shivered and told my boyfriend that we was not alone. I put my car in reverse and pulled out of the drive . I put my car in drive took my foot off the Brake and tried to put my foot on the gas pedal. It took out from under neath me I had to grab the parking brake just to get it to stop. My boyfriend screamed woke the kids up and said we are moving tommorow. We stayed at a hotel and went back the next day to find the door locked. We went in slowly but surely we stayed on one more night after that night. My son to this day sometimes talks about the night the bad man tried to hurt his mommy. All I have to say I was scared ,frightened and overwhelmed. MY boyfriend at that time: is now my husband and we have encountered many more hauntings together but this one was BIG ONE.
