Ghost Kills Cat

Back in 1983 my family and I rented a house from the church in crook colorado. it was a good sized house, large living room with windows that went across one side of the house. A house creaks and all that but there was a feeling.. just in the back of your head something wasnt right.. Well my brother had a cat, just a normal everyday cat except it got hit by a semi and the tire took one side of the cats face.. but it healed up nicely, now the cat was ok in the house with anyone of us in it, but he took a big IM outta here when we left for school or he noticed we were leaving. Now the neighbors were always telling us that we had someone in the house at night if we were gone a BIG somebody that stood in one of the large windows in the living room. Now I dont know how the cat got in the house because my brother was sure he let him out but we had a high school football game in which my brother and I played (we won) So we get home I go into my bedroom throw my stuff on the bed when I see a tail going stright up my closet door, thinking it a little strange I take a longer look over my bed and there is the cat dead and his head was on the floor, his neck made a little L shape and the rest of his body is going stright up the closest door!!! He'd been dead for a couple hours because he was stiff..Now I've seen dead animals but never one like that.. and my brother was grief for awhile but that was totally weird.. Then a few nights later we'd hear footsteps in the living room. We moved soon after but I always thought that strange.
