This was my first of many unexplained and paranormal experiences in my life. I was five years old and suffered from nite terrors (a combination of sleep walking and nitemares) so my mother would rock me back to sleep in a large rocking chair in my bedroom. On this particular nite my mother was rocking me back to sleep and as I looked over her shoulder into the corner of my room I saw this glowing form which to me it looked like a young boy about my size at the time. I closed my eyes and wanted it to go away but when I opened my eyes it was still there. I closed my eyes a second time and when I opened them it was gone. That was the first and last time I saw that spirit in my room. Not long after that my brother died and I now believe that what I saw was a wraith.
