Haunted Theater

I worked for an old movie theater (well, not that old, maybe built in 60s-70s from what I hear) for about a year, and of course, as the title suggests the movie-theater is haunted.

I found out about it actually after a few months of working there, once my cousin (who worked with me), and other coworkers sat discussing ghostly stories of our lives. So, of course someone mentioned the ghost in a theater such and such. Now, this movie theater has 8 theaters all together in it, its one of those multiplex ones. Here are few things that I will relay that happened, that I considered odd or eerie.

The supposedly two haunted theaters of course are located in the farthest corners of the building. The building it sort of shaped like a 'T' with the middle part being the front foyer, and the top bar being the theaters themselves, doors going along the sides. Anyway, in those two theaters that were believed to be haunted it was always extremely cold. Would be anything too unusual - old place, AC might be broken, but we called in the repairmen many times, and it would be fine for a few days, then go down again. At times the temp there was around 65 degrees. Most of the time nothing odd was happening, only at night, we would stay late to clean the floors and empty garbage cans, I would feel quite sharply something staring at me from the projection booth window. Its a rather large window, probably 4x4 feet. I would look up - and nothing in the window, jsut a black square. The feeling was eerie, and felt somehow...angry, malicious. But thats about it, it just watched.

Most of the activity happened from what I hear up in the projectors room. Its a rather long room, wide about 10 feet, but long, stretching the length of the theater. I have no spend much time there, but at times I felt something off, and did not like to stay up there for too long. People who did work up in the room, especially at night, did see strange shadows, people passing on the far side of the booth, but knew no one was there. At times the film was doing odd things, getting tangles in impossible knots ont he turn table, and projection guys knew that no human being would be able to do it, unless they had a lot of patience and about 2 hours to spare. But not while the film was running. (Of course not after that).

We never found out about our possible ghost. It was never truly malicious (excluding ruining the movies themselves), but definitely not very welcome. Someone said that a man was killed in one of the haunted theaters by injection with hypodermic needle in his neck, but I think that was just a rumour.

I never went back there, to see if the feeling is still there, just never got the chance. I should come by and ask if its stil haunted!
