Haunting of St. Catherine's Boarding School

I live in the county of Wiltshire, which is in the south of the UK. When I was 11, I started high school and I was sent to a boarding School in Wiltshire called St. Catherine's. It was a very posh school. It is a private girls school, where parents have to pay �4,000 a year. Anyway, the school was built in 1645. It is very old and looks like something out of a horror movie. I started there in September 1991. Each room, slept up to 12 girls. Very strange things used to happen in our rooms and other rooms in the school. Things would be moved around, things would disappear and one day we went back to our room to find the whole room had been re-arranged. In the middle of the night you would hear footsteps, doors banging and people talking. When we were 13, we decided to do some detective work and found out that the school was originally used as a hospital for people who were crazy. The patients were either killed by the doctors or died of other things and apparently their spirits never left the place. I must stress that we have never seen a ghost, although some people have. I left 5 years ago, I am now 21 and I am pleased, because very strange happened and the school was closed in 1997. Something really bad must of happened, but no-one knows what.
