The Lady Who Visited My Sister and I

When I was a child, my sister and I had beds that sat beside each other and faced our bedroom door. One evening when we were sitting up in beds doing homework, a lady (entity) opened our bedroom door and looked right at me. Then she turned her head and looked right at my sister, then she closed the door. I said to my sister, "Did you see that?" and she replied, "yes". We raced into my mothers bedroom where she was fast asleep and freaked out by our experience. We all slept in my mothers bedroom that night. To this day, I am still freaked out by the experience and still sleep with a light on. My mother also told me that she was up late one night while we were sleeping and saw a silhouette shadow of a woman walk past her on the wall. The curtains were all drawn and she can't explain it. There were always eerie feelings in the apartment we lived in.
