Many Encounters

I guess everything really started happening about a year after we moved into this house in San Diego. I can't remember every single odd experience, but here are the ones that really stick out.
First of all, my sister and I were always hearing voices. I hadn't had many experiences with anything supernatural until I'd moved into that house. That house was my marathon. We'd hear voices calling our names, I had one wake me up very early in the morning, shouting in my ear, "BRENNA!", my mom would hear voices, when no one was home, saying, "mom? mommy?". I felt very paranoid in that house.
On another occasion, my brother and sister and I liked to sleep in the den in the summer because we could play video games and goof off. The den had one whole wall that was mirrors, kind of up on a long step/shelf covered in carpet. A person could sit up there, so that's where I would sleep when we were in the den. One night I was just laying there, facing one of the mirrors, looking at my face. It was like I couldn't look away, and my face started to change from me, to something...not me. Something very frightening and evil looking, and I suddenly realized what was happening, and shook myself out of it.
About a year later in that den, my sister was up late, playing video games. I was sleeping in the room we shared, and she came in and shook me awake. She asked me if I had come in and sat down beside the couch a few minutes ago. I told her no, because I'd been asleep. She then told me that she had been in the den, when someone came in and sat down next to the couch. A few minutes later, they got up, and walked out the door towards our room. No one else was awake except her, and it wasn't anyone in the house. Needless to say, she was sufficiently freaked.
On another occasion, my sister and I were up late, talking in the living room, when we both looked into the hallway, and saw a large, tall as the ceiling shadow, move over the hall light, completely eclipse it, and continue down the hall. My sister and I also had another experience together a few months later. I got up because I heard, what I can only describe as a cacophany outside my window. It was shreiking and scratching and pounding and snarling. I woke my sister up, and asked if she'd heard it, and she said no. I told her what I heard, and I looked out the window, and didn't see anything. My sister wanted to know what it was, so we made our way down the hall, to look into the backyard. We were crouched down, so that we could look out the glass door onto the patio, between two of the venitian blinds that weren't closed. We didn't think we'd see anything, but my sister, said, "Look!", and there were two large yellow glowing eyes, about fence level, which was five feet tall. I didn't think they were eyes, because they looked like the lights off in the distance at my highschool, but then they blinked, and that's when I about dropped my jaw, and ran to get my dad. He looked out his window, which faced the backyard, and saw this fox/cat looking thing, walking away towards the right side of the yard. Whatever we saw, it wasn't that thing, because it was only the size of a house cat, couldn't have been on the fence, because what we saw was in front of the fence. I think that was the scarriest experience we had.
I also saw what I think was an apparition of my grandmother, who I'd been trying to "contact", and had had a really scary dream about. I saw a figure of a woman walk from the direction of my parents room, to the living room, where I thought my parents were. I went to check to see if they were both there, and my parents were both fast asleep on the couch.
I guess that's about it for the house in San Diego. I've had lots more experiences which I'm goig to write about. I joined this site to get in contact with other people who've had strange experiences with the paranormal. If anyone wants to talk about what's happened to them, or would like to give me insight into what's been happening to me, my email is at the top. God bless each of you.
