Maranda
From: Nella (nella angel@aol.com) Story type: Ghost Location: my school Source: Form Submission
O.K. let me begin by saying that I am only fifteen years old and this is the only paranormal experience I've had. I can't even tell if I am really seeing what I think or if it is an optical illusion but my high school is very old. The building itself must be a hundred years old and the last renovation was in the fifties. The reason I know is that ever since my first day there I have felt that it is haunted.
I spend a lot of time researching the school and there is something very interesting about it. There are no founders mentioned in the records. It's like the school just rose up out of nowhere. The only records are the renovation dates, few and far between. But the strangest thing is the school itself.
On my first day last year, as soon as I walked in, I noticed that the temperature is literally twenty degrees colder in the school than outside. This is a continual thing, all seasons. Also, it has no windows and the walls are three feet thick. I think if it caught on fire, everyone in the school would die because there are only two exits; front and back.
Alright, now that you have an idea of what my school is like, this is what happened. I got lost five minutes into the first day, but hey, it happens to the best of us, right? So as I was trying to find my way through this dimly lit hallway on the third floor, I suddenly realized that something was missing. There weren't any classrooms on the hall. The doors on each side were locked with padlocks that obviously hadn't been opened in years. So just as I was turning around to go the other way, I glanced at my watch. I knew I would be late for class but the time I had was 6:10! School starts at 7:17 so something was
definitely wrong. I walked to the end of the hall to find my way to the third floor office but as I looked up from my watch, I was looking up at the same thing I had just been looking at, like deja vous or something! Several times this happened until finally I turned and walked towards the dark side of the hall. I knew enough to know that it should
be a dead end because of the hall structure but as I got to where the end should have been, it was the office! And as I turned around, I saw the classroom I had been looking for right on the hall I had been on. I freaked out and ran down the stairs and outside and here is the freakiest part: it was dark. I ran all the way home and when I showed up, my mom was really worried because I hadn't come home at 2:30! I am not sure what happened to me but if you think you might know or if you have any information on tessarachts, please contact me. Nella Angel@aol.com
