My First Ghost Experience

This is a event that happened to me when I was five years old. Many people dont believe this story but it did happen. Anyhow, I was living with my Mother and her boyfriend, we just got to michigan. We met his parents, and we only been there a week, when a tragedy happened. Both of my mother's boyfriend's parents died, the mother shot her husband and then killed herself. Afterwards, my mother, and I moved into the house. At the time my mother didnt know why she did it. Things happened the day we moved in, lights would turn off and on, objects moved around, tv turned off and on. One night I was sleeping in my room, and I heard my mothers door open, it sounded like my Mother and her boyfriend walking down the hall and into the kitchen. I got out of bed and opened the door, and saw that the kitchen light was on, so I slowly crept down the hall. As I got closer to the kitchen, the light started flickering off and on, and it sounded like they were coming my way. So i ran back to my room, and peered out the door, and that is when I saw this women, white, her hair was long, she was see through, and few a feet off of the ground. She did not see me at all, she was going from the kitchen to the living room, and she was floating slowly that way. I immediately closed my door quietly and jumped into bed and put the covers over my head. I was scared and shocked, and confused, didnt know what it was at the time. A month later my Mom and I fled the house, and never returned.
