In 1990 a very strange event happened to me one October night that I will never forget. After a difficult and stressful day I decided to retire early with the hope of not losing sleep. Lucky for me I fell fast asleep and started to dream that I was in my deceased grandparent's (father's side) living room. Both of them were talking behind me, but I never saw them. My grandmother always had a red recliner type chair in the north corner of the room. Glancing to the chair in my dream I noticed an indian woman sitting very motionless, almost statuesque. My grandparents suddenly introduced me to this very small and frail indian woman. She slowly stood up and floated over to and without even moving her lips she communicated to me. Her message was to follow her so I did. We left the house exiting through the front door, went along the side of the house. We made our way to the back porch and there she knelt down and proceeded to glide her hand over the steps that led to the back door as if she was a faith healer. Then she stood up, floated over to me and communicated to me that she was going to have to call the indian chief. Suddenly I was face to face with an indian chief. Then in a flash I woke up glancing at the clock it was 3:00 am. There was a stange stillness in my house. Then I discovered all the stress and anxiety was gone. The next day I told my mom about this dream. She proceeded to question me about this indian woman. She then told me that her grandmother was full-blooded Indian. She informed me that Olivia and her father were faith healers that would glide their hands over an ill person as they prayed for wellness. A few days later we visited my grandmother (Olivia's daughter). Searching we found an old photo and there was my great grandmother the indian that visited me that October night.
