Room #23

In my first year of university (1997), I lived in a converted catholic seminary. It is now a catholic residence for
university students. I was assigned room #23. For the first while, I didn't notice anything, but gradually, strange things began happening. It started with knocking sounds at night that I passed off as other people in the building making noise or just the old building itself.
Getting closer to Christmas, things got really weird. My room had an eerie, cold, damp feeling, even when I would turn the heat all the way up. I was awoken on many occasions by loud knocking at my window.
I kept a finger-nail brush on the edge of the sink in my room. One night, I was awoke by it falling into the sink. I turned the light on and the brush was sitting just as I had left it on the edge of the sink. To test if that was what I heard, I pushed the brush into the sink. It was the same sound. Soon after turning out the light and
settling down for sleep again, there was a loud banging at my window... One of the strangest things that happened was one evening, I went to the mess hall for supper, when I came back to my room, a game was installed and running on my computer. I hadn't left my computer on and I was sure to lock the door before going for supper. It was a game that I had lost as well... The following spring, when the snow started to melt, my room flooded (i was on the ground floor). Mine was the only room that flooded. I had an inch of water on the floor when I
moved all my stuff to my uncle and aunt's house. I lived at their house for a couple days. I went to check my room after that and saw that the floor was dry. I moved my stuff back in, and the next morning, there was an inch of water again.
I spoke with people who had lived in the building previous years and they said that people living in that room had experienced similar things, and always had a feeling of being watched.
