The Haunted Bridge

I first heard about the haunted bridge when I was ten years old. At first I just summed it up to my uncle trying to scare me, but then I realized that my entire family not to mention everyone I talked to knew about the bridge. One of the main stories about it is that a long time ago a family was traveling and somehow got into an accident at the bridge. It is said that on Halloween you can hear the baby crying and the mother calling for her child. I don't know how truthful this story is, but I believe it enough not to go there on Halloween. For all I know this story could just be an urban legend. I think some kids from the high school in the town went there one year to spend the night and see if they could see anything. By morning they had all left and went home. I don't know if it was out of fear of boredom, but I do know one thing. I would never go there at night and I sure as heck wouldn't go there on Halloween.
