Two Boys Headed For Trouble: The Final Night

As I have written here,3 times before. We have had trouble with an unexplained beast roaming around my friends farm. I have explained each encounter, but have not been back since the last one.

Why you say?

We have finally captured the beast. Or should I say we HAD finally captured it. Until another creature broke it free of it stall (we kept it in a modified horse stall).

Anyways I know everyone in anxious to learn what this creature was, but I still cannot justify that with an absolute answer.

As I have said it is roughly the size of a silverback male gorilla, and has yellow eyes.

Here's what happened aprox. 2 weeks ago. As you all know we had shot this thing before. Starting with small airrifles, all the way to shotguns, to no avail. Well I decided to just wrestle it to the ground instead. Dangerous? Yes Am I crazy? Perhaps... but I caught the thing, so it doesn't matter much now..

I was crouched ontop of a hog slop tray, and for those that don't know, it's a long bench. With sidewalls and a tin roof. Always, I was crouched there, while 5 of my closest friends were waiting with machette's and such. So here we are at 3:09a.m. on a sat morning, and were have a dead goat tied up. Smart huh?

Right.. anyways, it came, as always storming through again. But this time it showed no mercy. It grabbed the goat in it's jaws, and did a death roll. I jumped! And started to apply a choke hold like no other! It passed out after about 5 mins. We put it in a horse stall, and sat all morning looking at it.

Before we could have a vet come look at it, another animal or roughly 2x!!! it's size broke the stall door, and they booth fled.

I am sorry to have failed again.... I have not seen the animal again... is it gone for good?
