The Chase

In truth, it is not a ghost story for the creature that chased the jeep that night was definitely not a ghost. My dad and his friends are driving through a long dirt road surrounded by banana trees in tarlac. Suddenly, out of nowhere a big thing jumped out of the trees and ran after their vehicle. Soon, it was already very close to them and the people riding behind the Wrangler jeep (which was open at the back) were squirming to sit in front. They could feel it's hot breath on their necks, they said. People looking behind could see a horse with a man's torso (for those who know, yes, it's a tikbalang) running after them - not in four legs, but two. The driver tried to view the creature in the rearview mirror but sees just the road. But they could hear the clip-clop of hooves and the heavy breathing very clearly. They went on for a few more miles until they reached the noisy town proper and it was not at their back anymore.
