Wake Me Up

My boyfriend and I live together in a house that was built by his grandfather. Several people have died in the house, all of natural causes. So it shouldn't be so surprising that it is haunted. If you are sleeping in the downstairs bedroom you can hear someone upstairs pacing the floor even when there is no one upstairs. It doesn't matter what time of day or night it is there is the constant sound of someone walking around in the house.

That was the first indication there was something weird. But this ghost seems to be someone who keeps a careful eye on the events that take place in that house. My boyfriend is a diabetic and he often has insulin reactions. He goes into a semi conscious state which can be life threatening if not treated.

This happens mainly during the night when he is asleep and unaware of the fluctuation in his blood sugar level. But the ghost always wakes me.

One night I was asleep in another bedroom (my boyfriend snores) and there was no reason for me to wake, but I did wake up and I heard someone ask me where my boyfriend was, when I went into his room sure enough he was having a diabetic reaction. This has happened twice.

Another time I was sleeping in and my boyfriend had gone down to the basement to put laundry in the dryer and I was woke and told to go to the bathroom, I entered just as our two year old son was about to slip and fall.

I have also noticed our ghost looking out the windows. You will see the miniblinds flip open like someone is looking out the window and then flip shut. It is strange but not frightening.
