We had Maggie ever since she was a puppy. Well, when it was time for her to go she was laying in our den. We called the vet because she kept wining. The vet came and said her lungs were filling up with water, and that she would have to be put to sleep. So the vet gave her the shot and she went to sleep. A few days after that my family started to see her around the house. And one night while I was asleep I heard a whining sound. (like a dogs) My dog would always sleep in me or my brothers bed. I was half asleep at the time. I patted the bed, which was her signal to get up and get comfortable. I felt her weight when she jumped up in the bed, and then she layed down. I was afraid at first, but then I realized she was just hanging around for the protection of the family.
