What Did It Want?

i guess some people had experienced "visit" from supernatural being while sleeping.

my encounter followed after a true incident was related to me through my mom about her friend's daughter. the girl is a down-syndrome child a year younger than me, one evening her nurse came into her room armed with dinner to find the girl cowering in a corner. a bat was fluttering around the girl's head and managed to scratch one side of her face.the nurse chased it away but ever since that evening, the girl began to have suicide tendency.

puzzled, my mom's friend consulted psychiatrist and doctors to no avail. only after learning about the bat encounter from the nurse did it occur to her to consult a chinese medium. the medium took a look at the daughter and after hearing about the bat attack attributed it to a spirit wanting the girl's soul. the medium further elaborated that the spirit could had been victim of an unnatural death and that it was around the same age as the daughter.to get a better chance at rebirth, the spirit tried replacing itself by taking the daughter's soul.

the medium instructed my mom's friend on how to go about inviting the spirit to be brought to him and appeased. anyway she did it and her daughter returned to normal.

as for me, it was evening time and i heard a fluttering sound ard my head, remembering the tale my mom told, i quickly chanted a buddhist mantra and put up a mental resistance and forced myself to wake up. it was during the state of waking up that i remembered my face-down left sided position and after being awake i was in the exact position and saw a bat/crow-like apparation fleeting before my eyes before disappearing.

maybe it was all in my mind but better be safe than sorry than falling victim to wandering spirits. only god has the right to our souls.
