I was 21 years old, and my parents had just been divorced after 28 years of marriage. I was very upset and my personal relationship was not doing well. I decided to end my misery with pills and a note in my mothers pill container. I remember her snoring so loud she woke herself up and went into the kitchen where she looked into her pill container and found my note of despair. My sister came home at that exact time and they called 911. I grabbed my purse and ran to my car where I found I had my sisters purse and keys. The ambulance came and took me to the hospital. I only remembering waking up and the blue skies and beautiful music faded as I became aware of my surroundings. I said, "Oh no!!" But it was too late I was back.
